What is VacuPressure?
VacuPressure combines the advantages of both reflexology and acupuncture by introducing very simple and innovative technology.

Nearly three decades ago a small team in Denmark was experimenting with suction pads. They were endeavoring to help a young boy suffering with epilepsy. after several weeks not only was he free of drugs, but he was also free of further fits.

They soon realized that they were dealing with a person’s energy lines (meridians). They concluded that if meridians are blocked and free flow is obstructed, different organs will suffer from lack of nutrition and oxygen and disease can develop.

What does it do?
Treatments release the body’s powerful but sensitive healing forces restoring the electrical balance and energy flow. The suction pads also stimulate the lymphatic system which cleanses the body and eliminates toxins thus improving circulation.

Who can have this treatment?
VacuPressure practitioners deliver a non-invasive, safe and relaxing treatment, which can be enjoyed by all members of the family; adults, children and the elderly.

Are needles used?
No. Suction pads were developed as an alternative to needles so that acupuncture points in the body could be stimulated painlessly. They are totally non-invasive.

Do I have to undress?
No. Access to feet, legs (now and then above the knees), arms (maybe up to shoulders) and hands is all that is required.

How long does the treatment take?
Treatments vary depending on a person’s condition. But allow at least one hour and up to two hours. More than one treatment is usually required to achieve normalization of body functions. I work with colleagues in England and Denmark, so treatment can be continued if necessary.

Shall I stop seeing my doctor?
No. Many patients considering treatment will have been to their doctor and be taking prescribed medication. Since the system treats the whole person, the body is encouraged to heal itself.

Will it help my asthma?
Most likely. From experience it has been found that almost everybody can expect real benefits from a course of treatments.

Are there any side effects?
There are no toxic side effects, but the client can feel a bit tired, as unhealthy toxins are eliminated during a course of treatment.

About myself
I gained professional experience in the Danish diplomatic service, then worked for a doctor in Denmark. I studied anatomy, physiology and reflexology in Copenhagen and qualified in 1990, followed by diploma in Vacuflex in London in 1997. I also qualified in aromatherapy and Reiki healing. I was trained in the VacuPressure system by one of the members of the original Danish team, Christian Andersen, who today has a very busy clinic in Copenhagen.
